It is the season for a romantic walk across the

snow-covered roofs, domes and towers. The pealing of countless church

After descending back down to the city, the merry bustling on the
Salzburg Christmas Market fills us with a cosy, warm feeling and wakes
fond childhood memories.
The smell of punch and toasted almonds, hot roasted chestnuts and
freshly baked apples envelopes our noses; the vendors' gingerbread
hearts, Nativity figures, Christmas tree ornaments, toys and warm
pullovers are irresistible.
